Spencer started his real estate career at Fortune International Realty giving him an opportunity to work directly with one of Key Biscayne's top-producing real estate teams. In December of 2012, he left Fortune International Realty to join EWM Realty International, now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty, an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway.
Prior to working in Real Estate, Spencer attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and was a professional drummer and touring musician based out of San Francisco, CA.
Due to his strong technical background and experience in sales and marketing, he also worked as a consultant to many start-up companies based in the Bay Area and Silicon Valley where he specialized in online advertising sales and campaign optimization.
After over 8 years living on the West Coast, Spencer returned to Key Biscayne briefly before he was recruited to work in Manhattan as the Director of Programming for a boutique television startup, Plum TV - a network of stations providing original local and national content catering to the residents and visitors in the resort destinations of Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, Aspen, Vail, Telluride, The Hamptons, Sun Valley and Miami Beach. He was involved with many different aspects of the business and reported directly to the President and Founders of the Network - splitting his time between Manhattan and The Hamptons. During that time, he co-produced a real estate marketing program showcasing some of the Hampton’s most unique and interesting estates.
